Baghdad: The Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh Al-Fayadh, held a meeting with Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani in his office in Baghdad on Tuesday. The meeting focused on key issues concerning the security and political climate of the country, as well as the progress of the Popular Mobilization Forces law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Fayadh's office released a statement indicating that the PMF law, which has already undergone its second reading in Parliament, was a central part of the discussion. The meeting underscored the importance of advancing the approval process for the legislation.

Al-Fayadh emphasized that completing this law is a fundamental step in defining the tasks of the commission and enhancing its legal legitimacy.
