Baghdad: Civil Defense teams successfully extinguished a fire that erupted this afternoon at the University Corniche farms located in the center of Kut city. Fortunately, there were no human casualties reported in the incident.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Wasit Governor Hadi al-Hamashi stated that the fire was brought under control under his direct supervision. He also noted the presence of several directors from service departments within the governorate, ensuring that swift measures were implemented to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby areas.
