Basra: The Basra Police Command announced that Emergency Regiments have carried out their field duties as part of the security plan to ensure the safety of pilgrims during the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), in coordination with other security and service formations in the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, an official statement from the command detailed that the tasks of the Emergency Regiments focus on maintaining security, organizing the movement of pilgrims and Husseini processions, and deploying forces at vital locations to ensure rapid response to any emergencies, thereby securing smooth conduct of the religious rituals.

The police command affirmed that the Emergency Regiments continue to perform their duties with high readiness and discipline, reflecting a commendable level of coordination and security efforts during major religious occasions.
