Baghdad: The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) has successfully executed a series of operations leading to the arrest of 10 terrorists affiliated with ISIS. These operations are part of a strategic initiative aimed at dismantling remnants of ISIS and securing the nation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the CTS emphasized its ongoing commitment to tracking down and eliminating ISIS elements. The operations, described as qualitative, were conducted across multiple regions, including Diyala, Salah al-Din, Nineveh, and Kirkuk, each yielding the capture of one terrorist.

The CTS statement highlighted that in Anbar Governorate, three terrorists were caught in two separate operations. Additionally, two more were apprehended in distinct areas. A coordinated effort with the General Directorate for Counter-Terrorism in Sulaymaniyah resulted in the capture of another terrorist in that region.

The operations also involved the search and destruction of six hideouts located in the Rawa Desert and the desert south of Rutba in Anbar Governorate. The CTS reaffirmed its dedication to eradicating any remaining terrorist threats and maintaining the safety and security of the country's citizens.
