Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned of the worsening water crisis in Tehran, indicating that it could force about 15 million people to leave the capital.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a press statement, Pezeshkian described the situation as alarming, saying that "Tehran effectively no longer has any water," as reported by the Asr-e Iran newspaper on Thursday. He indicated that moving the capital to another location has become an option among emergency solutions.
