Russian Defense Ministry Announces Targeting of Ukrainian Military-Industrial and Energy Complex Facilities

Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Thursday, that its forces launched airstrikes on Ukrainian industrial complex facilities in the capital, Kyiv, and energy complex facilities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a statement that the Russian Armed Forces carried out a joint airstrike using long-range precision weapons, striking Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities, in addition to energy complex facilities that support the activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It added that the "Forces of the Western Group" improved their positions along the front line and targeted Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and equipment in several areas of the Kharkiv Oblast, noting that Ukrainian forces suffered approximately 230 casualties, as well as combat vehicles, a number of field artillery pieces, and ammunition depots.

It indicated that the "Southern Forces" units had taken control of more superior lines and positions, targeting the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk region, noting that Ukrainian losses amounted to approximately 215 soldiers, combat vehicles, and a number of field artillery pieces.
