Basra: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani today visited the home of the late preacher Hashem Nasser al-Mousawi, also known as Abu Aqeel, in Basra.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani reflected on the significant contributions of the late preacher, emphasizing his national and jihadist stances throughout his political career. The Prime Minister highlighted al-Mousawi's role in enriching Islamic advocacy, particularly in opposing the dictatorial regime. He also paid homage to the martyrs and sacrifices made by the Islamic movement, underscoring their commitment to creative principles in the ongoing struggle of the Iraqi people across different phases.
