Erbil: National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji confirmed that the perpetrators of the attacks on oil fields in the Kurdistan Region will be found. Al-Araji made this announcement during a press conference with the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, Rebar Ahmed.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji emphasized the detrimental impact these attacks have on the Iraqi economy and assured that efforts are underway to identify those responsible. During the conference, he stated, “Targeting the oil fields in the region harms the Iraqi economy, and we will find the perpetrators of the attacks.”

The Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, Rebar Ahmed, expressed hope for the success of the joint committee tasked with determining the identities of the attackers. He stated that once identified, the perpetrators would be handed over to the federal government for legal action.
