Baghdad: Council of Representatives Rapporteur Bida’ Khader Al-Salman discussed several security files with Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari. A statement from the Council of Representatives stated that “a number of security files and citizens’ demands were discussed during the meeting.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Salman stressed the importance of strengthening coordination between the Ministry and the Council of Representatives, especially the Security and Defense Committee, to support security plans and confront challenges. She reiterated the Council’s support for every national effort that serves the security and stability of Iraq.
