Baghdad: The head of Taqaddun (Progress) Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, welcomed the newly appointed governor of Baghdad, Atwan al-Atwani. The meeting was also attended by Ammar al-Hamdani, the head of the provincial council, along with several council members.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on the necessity for political forces to work together to support the local government. The collaboration aims to ensure stability and the advancement of service projects that align with the aspirations of Baghdad’s residents.
