Basra: The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Hassan Mohammed Hassan, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Chinese company Hilong Oil Services and Engineering at the company's headquarters in Burjisiya. The meeting focused on exploring business opportunities and potential joint cooperation in the drilling and rehabilitation of oil wells.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Drilling Company's media released a statement highlighting that the meeting included a review of the technical and technological capabilities of Hilong. The discussions aimed at identifying joint work opportunities to aid in the development of Iraq's drilling sector. The visiting delegation included the Deputy Director General and the Director of Hilong Oil Services' branch in China.
