Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israel of criminally killing the Palestinian people for 22 months, describing the situation in the Gaza Strip as genocidal. During a press conference with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, Erdogan compared the inhumane scenes from Gaza to those of Nazi camps, emphasizing that Palestinians are suffering from hunger and thirst under the watch of the global community.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan highlighted the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, where innocent children are dying from hunger or bullets from Israeli forces. He condemned Israel's use of hunger as a weapon, asserting it as clear evidence of a lack of humanity.

Erdogan urged countries and peoples of conscience, particularly Islamic nations, to vocally oppose what he referred to as Israeli barbarism. He assured that Turkey remains committed to taking necessary actions, expressing hope for accountability and justice for the people of Gaza.

In addition to discussing regional issues, Erdogan and Tokayev explored avenues to increase the flow of Kazakh oil to global markets through Turkey. They also deliberated on enhancing the Middle Corridor across the Caspian Sea, a modern-day revival of the historic Silk Road.
