Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, led an extensive meeting of the Supreme Security Committee to deliberate on security arrangements for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). This gathering focused on aligning security strategies with service, health, and transportation plans to ensure seamless movement and the safety of pilgrims.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Governor stressed the importance of daily monitoring and direct coordination with the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. The Prime Minister is closely involved with the pilgrimage, overseeing the execution of plans that are based on precise intelligence efforts and preemptive operations across different areas.

The Governor highlighted the significant role of the Popular Mobilization Commission in offering security and organizational support, which boosts overall preparedness and guarantees a safe environment for hosting millions of pilgrims arriving from various regions within and outside Iraq.
