Baghdad: The Azm Alliance has issued a strong condemnation regarding the abuse directed at MP Raad al-Dahlaki and the attack on Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani during the parliamentary session held today. The Alliance emphasized that such actions are a breach of democratic principles and the responsibility expected from elected representatives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Azm Alliance stated that the use of insulting methods does not contribute to the national interest and is inconsistent with the values of parliamentary work. The Alliance warned that such behavior undermines the dignity of the legislative body and erodes public confidence in it, especially at a time when there is a critical need for commitment to respectful discourse and adherence to constitutional laws and procedures.

The Alliance urged all political factions and entities to engage in constructive dialogue to resolve conflicts and focus on the country’s paramount interests. It highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and protecting state institutions.
