Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed that maintaining civil and social peace is a fundamental pillar for advancing and completing development projects across various sectors. This statement came during his meeting today with a number of Members of Parliament representing Maysan Province, where they discussed the service and economic conditions in the province, as well as the progress of infrastructure projects currently underway.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation between the local government and federal ministries, commending the efforts of MPs in monitoring and supporting the implementation of the government’s program in the province. He noted that Maysan is witnessing a qualitative leap in job creation and a positive engagement by local officials and MPs in addressing citizens’ needs. He reiterated the government’s commitment to pursuing vital and service-oriented projects, particularly infrastructure developments, some of which have already been inaugurated while others are ongoing.
