Hamas: Netanyahu’s Statements Constitute a Coup Against Negotiations

Baghdad: The Palestinian Hamas movement said “Netanyahu’s statements regarding the occupation of Gaza without holding it represent an extension of the policy of genocide and mass displacement against the Palestinian people.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, Hamas indicated: “These statements constitute a clear coup against the course of negotiations and expose the reasons for his withdrawal from the last round despite the proximity of an agreement.”

Hamas further considered: “Netanyahu’s talk of expanding the aggression confirms his intention to get rid of the Israeli detainees to serve his interests and extremist agendas.”

The movement stressed: “Gaza will remain resistant to Israel, and any attempt to impose guardianship or aggression against it will be met with a heavy price.”

Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to condemn these statements and take urgent action to stop the aggression and hold Israeli leaders accountable.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced in press statements today that Israel intends to completely occupy Gaza, but “does not intend to keep it.”
