Commander-in-Chief Approves Promotion and Retirement for Disabled Officers


Baghdad: The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, has given his approval for the promotion and retirement of officers with a disability of 50% or more. This decision marks a significant development for eligible officers seeking advancement to a higher rank along with retirement benefits.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, an authorized security source confirmed the decision and outlined that these procedures are set to be implemented within a 14-day timeframe. This move reflects a commitment to addressing the needs and aspirations of officers who have served with disabilities, ensuring they are recognized and rewarded for their service.
