Four People Killed and Injured in Separate Traffic Accidents in Iraq

Diwaniyah: Two people were killed and two others were injured in a collision between two cars on the road linking Diwaniyah and Najaf, near Al-Shamiyah district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a medical source reported that the two bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine department, and the injured were taken to the hospital. An investigation has been opened into the circumstances of the accident.

In Hillah, a man and his son lost their lives in a traffic accident west of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate. The Director of media for the Babylon Traffic Department, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, stated that a vehicle carrying the man and his son, who were returning from Karbala, collided with a truck in the Abu Ghraq district, resulting in their immediate death. He added that the police transferred the two bodies to the forensic medicine department and opened an investigation into the accident.
