Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a gang specializing in “extortion and threats” west of the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a statement: “The gang consists of four suspects, who were arrested by a joint security force during a raid, after receiving information from a female citizen that she had been subjected to electronic extortion and threats with weapons in the Ghazaliya area.”

It added: “Three pistols and a Kalashnikov rifle were seized from the gang members, and they were referred to the competent authorities.”
