Erbil: The Ministry of Transport announced the recording of an earthquake in Erbil Governorate. The seismic event was detected approximately 70 km south of Erbil, with a magnitude of 3.2 degrees. Citizens residing near the area reported feeling the tremors at 2:23:58 AM on Saturday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seismic observatories of the Meteorological Authority were responsible for recording the earthquake. The authorities are monitoring the situation, although no immediate reports of damage or injuries have been made public.
