Baghdad: The foreign ministers of Islamic countries have voiced their absolute rejection of Israel’s plans to occupy Gaza and displace its population. They perceive these plans as a dangerous and unacceptable escalation, an attempt to solidify the illegal occupation, and an imposition of a fait accompli by force. Such actions are seen as illegitimate and posing a threat to both regional and international security and peace, constituting a flagrant violation of international law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, at the conclusion of their meetings, the foreign ministers urged the UN Security Council, under Chapter VII, to fulfill its political, legal, and humanitarian responsibilities. They called for urgent action to halt what they describe as brutal aggression by the Israeli occupation and its violations, which they believe aim to undermine the chances of achieving a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace in the region.
