Diyala: Units from the Checkpoints and External Roads Department of Diyala Police Command seized three tankers loaded with sulfuric acid that were prepared for smuggling.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, Director of Media for Diyala Police, stated that the units intercepted the tankers, which violated legal regulations and were intended for smuggling. He noted that legal measures were taken against the drivers and vehicles involved.

Colonel Al-Shammari emphasized that the security units are committed to working firmly to prevent smuggling and manipulation. This action is part of broader efforts to safeguard the country’s economic security.
