Baghdad: A joint force from the 1st Regiment, 57th Brigade, within the Popular Mobilization Forces Operations Command in Anbar Governorate, and the Jazeera Operations Command, carried out a security operation in Wadi Houran in Anbar on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Popular Mobilization Forces Authority stated: “The operation included searching Wadi Houran, one of the most important areas that terrorist remnants seek to exploit as infiltration routes.”

It explained: “These operations come within the framework of the efforts of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces to enhance security and stability throughout Anbar Governorate and thwart any desperate attempts to undermine the achieved security stability.”
