Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has instructed employees of the Ministry of Finance and associated government banks to work on Fridays and Saturdays to expedite the distribution of retirees’ salaries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a government source confirmed that the Prime Minister has issued directives for the Ministry of Finance and relevant government banks. This decision aims to ensure that the distribution of retirees’ salaries is completed without delay, necessitating weekend work by the involved employees.
