Baghdad: The death toll from the Zionist aggression on Gaza has escalated to 64,231, with 161,583 individuals wounded. The conflict, which erupted on October 7, 2023, continues to inflict severe casualties on the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals received 84 martyrs and 338 wounded within the last 24 hours. The ministry emphasized that since the breach of the ceasefire agreement on March 18, the number of martyrs has increased to 11,699, with 49,542 wounded.
The Ministry further detailed that 17 individuals seeking aid and 174 wounded were admitted to hospitals during the same period, bringing the total number of martyrs seeking livelihood to 2,356, and the wounded to 17,244.
Additionally, three new deaths from starvation and malnutrition were recorded in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of victims of starvation to 370, which includes 131 children. The ongoing blockade and conflict have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the region.
The situation remains dire as the Zionist entity continues its military operations, overlooking international calls for a ceasefire and the opening of crossings for humanitarian aid. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is increasingly tragic, with urgent needs for relief and support.
