Al-Araji and Qatari Counterpart Call for Coordinated Efforts Against Zionist Attacks


Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji held a phone call on Tuesday evening with the Advisor to the Emir of the State of Qatar for National Security, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Misnad, to discuss the latest developments following the Israeli bombing that targeted the Qatari capital, Doha. During the call, Al-Araji expressed Iraq’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, strongly condemning the treacherous attack, which represents a flagrant violation of international law and a threat to security and stability in the region.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji praised the wisdom of the Emir of the State of Qatar in managing crises and overcoming challenges, stressing that “Qatar will remain a gateway to goodness and peace and a fundamental pillar of regional and international stability.”



The two sides also stressed the importance of coordinating Arab and international efforts to stop attacks, protect civilians, and end the war in the Gaza Strip. They agreed to continue consultations and coordination between Baghdad and Doha, in support of sustainable security and peace in the region and the world.
