Iran and IAEA Reach Agreement on Cooperation in Cairo


Cairo: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, signed an agreement on cooperation between Tehran and the Agency at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Cairo.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi and Grossi finalized the agreement during their presence at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The signing ceremony was attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty. The agreement marks a step in the ongoing dialogue and collaboration between Iran and the IAEA, focusing on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and ensuring adherence to international nuclear standards.
