Baghdad: Shakhwan Abdullah, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives and head of the Iraqi parliamentary delegation, recently met with Mansour Al-Mutairi, the head of the Gulf Media Federation, and Rashid Al-Hujailan, the head of the International Federation of Asian and African Trade Unions. This meeting was part of the agenda at the General Conference of the Asian-African Council.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the joint meeting focused on developments in the region and several important topics. The discussions centered on strategies to enhance and expand cooperation and coordination mechanisms between parliaments. The leaders also aimed to unify their visions on international and regional issues across the two continents, with the goal of serving the interests of their peoples.
