Sulaymaniyah: The Protesting Teachers’ Committee in Sulaymaniyah announced a boycott of the new school year on Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, committee member Dilshad Mirani stated that “the 21st of this month will be a day of boycotting teaching in all schools,” emphasizing that “the boycott includes all educational levels.”

He further mentioned that teachers are preparing to renew their protest movement this year, indicating that “sit-ins and protests will resume.”
