Baghdad: The head of al-Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, hosted a meeting on Sunday evening with Joshua Harris, the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Baghdad. The discussion centered around the current political and security developments in Iraq and the broader region, as well as the challenges the country faces amidst evolving regional and international dynamics.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both parties explored the state of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States, focusing on ways to bolster cooperation to advance mutual interests and promote stability and development. Al-Abadi reiterated Iraq’s commitment to fostering balanced relationships with the United States, grounded in mutual respect and shared interests, while highlighting the significance of sustained dialogue and coordination to address regional challenges.
