Najaf: Ali Hussein Fahim, an academic affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in Najaf, has achieved a significant milestone by securing first place at an international conference in Germany. Fahim, currently on scholarship at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and representing Al-Musayyab Technical College, excelled at the conference held at RWTH Aachen University. The event, focusing on the future sustainability of the steel industry, attracted participation from over 150 researchers from esteemed international universities and research centers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Technical University’s media highlighted Fahim’s achievement at this prominent scientific forum. The conference served as a high-level international platform dedicated to discussing the latest scientific discoveries and innovative technologies in pursuit of sustainability in the steel industry, a crucial sector on the global stage.
