Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani met on Tuesday with the President of the American University of Iraq – Baghdad, Brad Cook, to discuss enhancing scientific and technical cooperation in support of the development of the oil industry.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil stated that the meeting focused on areas of research, modern studies, and joint training programs aimed at providing the oil sector with advanced scientific expertise and skills.

The university delegation included Vice President for Academic Affairs Zuhair Atiya, Director of Communications, Advisor to the President for Public Affairs Elisha Holland, Executive Director of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Training Ziad Shaban, Executive Director of Government and University Relations Mahmoud Hatim, and the President’s Office Director Tara Karim.
