Diwaniyah: Security forces arrested 17 individuals wanted on charges of drug and weapons trafficking, one of them on murder charges, and a foreigner who violated residency conditions. Diwaniyah Police Director Major General Najah Al-Bayati confirmed the arrests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were carried out in accordance with judicial orders issued by the competent courts. The individuals were transferred to a security center for investigation and legal action.
