Baghdad: The Patriarchate denied that Patriarch Louis Raphael Sacco visited Israel. In a statement, it said that the lies being promoted by a well-known party, using all means possible to undermine the Patriarch, were circulated on Instagram (using artificial intelligence) that His Beatitude had visited Israel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, it stated that this was a complete lie. This lie was published a few years ago, and that the Patriarch had never visited Israel. If he decided to visit, the visit would be public, not secret. It should be noted that when Pope Francis visited Jordan and then moved to Israel, His Beatitude the Patriarch was with the delegation in Jordan and refrained from accompanying His Holiness the Pope to Israel out of respect for the Palestinian cause, despite the fact that the Chaldeans have a church and a center in al-Quds.
