Dhi qar: A source in the Dhi Qar Civil Defense announced the martyrdom of one of its members while attempting to dismantle a cluster munition south of Nasiriyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the explosion occurred during the field dismantling operation in the Tal al-Lahm area, resulting in severe injuries to the member. He was subsequently transferred to the hospital, but later died of his injuries.

The source indicated that the martyr was 51 years old and was part of the team specializing in handling explosive remnants of war.
