London: The British Foreign Office expressed its concern over the escalation carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated, "The escalation in Gaza is deeply worrying. The ceasefire must hold, and aid must reach those in need." She further commented on Britain's concerns regarding the severity of Israel's tactics, reports of civilian casualties, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, emphasizing the urgent need for calm to prevent further destabilization.

Cooper also noted her decision not to declare the United Kingdom's strong condemnation of settler violence and the inflammatory remarks by National Security Minister Ben-Gvir, which she indicated could threaten the status quo in the Holy Land in al-Quds.

The Israeli occupation army has been engaged in a large-scale military operation in several areas of the West Bank, particularly Jenin, over the past four days. This has resulted in dozens of casualties, injuries, and arrests, prompting international calls for a cessation of the operation to prevent a further deterioration of the security and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
