Erbil: The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region announced on Tuesday the deposit of 120 billion dinars into the Iraqi Ministry of Finance’s account for the region’s non-oil revenues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that the federal treasury’s share of the region’s non-oil revenues for August 2025, totaling 120 billion dinars, has been deposited in cash into the bank account of the Federal Ministry of Finance at the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq.

The Iraqi government is expected to send the salaries for last August to the region for disbursement to public sector employees and workers in Kurdistan, in accordance with the agreement concluded between Erbil and Baghdad.
