Tehran: National Security Advisor Qassem al-Araji engaged in discussions on security cooperation, border control, and the presence of Kurdish opposition parties with Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a high-ranking security delegation led by al-Araji met with Iranian officials in Tehran. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in security, managing border controls, and addressing issues related to Kurdish opposition groups in the region. Additionally, discussions included the continuation of security, intelligence, and information cooperation, as well as examining the details of a committee established to oversee the joint security agreement between Iraq and Iran.
