Ministry of Interior Pledges to Bolster Security and Trade Ties with France


Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior has reiterated its commitment to enhancing its relations with France, focusing on the security, technical, and commercial sectors.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry expressed this commitment during a meeting where Major General Naji Ismail Kadhim Al-Baydhani, Director General of the Contracts Directorate, received a delegation from the French Embassy in Baghdad. The delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Franck Cl©ment, the Internal Security Attach©.



The discussions during the meeting centered on developing joint cooperation with France and strengthening trade relations with French companies. This collaboration is aligned with a strategic agreement aimed at providing the most current technical and commercial offerings to support the Ministry’s projects.



Major General Al-Baydhani emphasized to the French delegation the Ministry’s dedication to deepening its ties with France in the specified fields. The French delegation, in turn, expressed its readiness to cooperate in various areas and commended the current level of coordination between the two parties.
