Basra: Basra Heavy and Basra Medium crude oil prices fell for the second consecutive day on Thursday, in line with the decline in global oil prices.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Heavy crude dropped $1.39, or 2.15%, to $63.34, while Basra Medium crude fell $1.39, or 2.09%, to $65.19.

Global oil prices declined as markets awaited developments in US-China trade talks, hoping for signs of easing tensions that have been weighing on economic growth prospects.
