Baghdad: The National Security Service announced the results of its most significant operations during October 2025. The Service stated in its report that: “(27) individuals were arrested on terrorism charges, (63) drug dealers and traffickers, and (126) individuals were arrested for extortion and threats, in addition to other special operations carried out by the Service in various governorates across the country.”
