Manama: The National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met with the Director General of Lebanese State Security, Major General Edgar Lawandes, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the sidelines of the 21st Manama Dialogue conference.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two sides discussed security cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon and ways to benefit from the shared experiences of the two brotherly countries.

Al-Araji emphasized that Iraq has extensive experience in combating terrorism and drugs and promoting stability, and is open to sharing this experience with brotherly and friendly countries, thereby strengthening the foundations of security and stability in the region and the world.
