Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Iraq’s commitment to a policy of openness, building partnerships, and maintaining good neighborly relations with countries in the region and the world.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his meeting with the Turkish minister, President Rashid called for the adoption of a fair policy regarding water quotas that guarantees Iraq’s acquired rights in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. He emphasized the importance of improving water management to reduce waste and achieve water sustainability.
