Manama: A Syrian Person Arrested for Planning a Terrorist Attack and Massacre: The German newspaper Bild, citing security sources, reported the arrest of a Syrian national in Berlin who was apparently planning a terrorist attack.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, special units detained the Syrian national, Abdullah, on suspicion of planning a massacre. The arrest led to the discovery of explosives and components for making an improvised explosive device (IED) in his possession, believed to have been ordered online. Authorities are continuing investigations to ascertain the intended target of the planned attack.

Reports suggest that the suspect resided in Berlin at three different addresses, raising questions about his movements and activities within the city. The arrest has heightened security measures and concerns regarding potential threats.

It is noteworthy that in October, three individuals were killed in an attack near a synagogue in Manchester. Following that incident, police apprehended six people connected to the attack, and the perpetrator was killed during the confrontation.
