Mosul: Security forces in Nineveh Governorate have begun deploying to schools designated as polling centers in preparation for the parliamentary elections scheduled for November 11. These measures aim to secure the areas surrounding the schools and provide a safe environment for voters during the voting process.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source in the Nineveh Police stated that security forces have started deploying personnel to all polling centers. This deployment is being carried out in coordination with the Independent High Electoral Commission to ensure the electoral process proceeds in a safe and organized manner.
The source further mentioned that the security measures include increasing security checkpoints and regulating traffic in the areas surrounding the centers.
