Diwaniyah: The Ministry of Interior announced today, Monday, the arrest of five suspects in the killing of three citizens in Diwaniyah Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint force from the Falcons Intelligence Cell of the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency and the Diwaniyah Governorate Anti-Crime Directorate of the Ministry of Interior managed to arrest five suspects in the killing of three members of the same family inside their vehicle on Al-Tahadi Street last October due to tribal disputes.

The statement added that the arrest of the suspects came after continuous monitoring and field work at various times, which led to the discovery of their possible location within the Al-Dalmaj marshes.

The Ministry of Interior stated, “We are determined to pursue those wanted by the judiciary, and nothing will deter our heroic officers from performing their duty to enhance security and stability, enforce the rule of law, and combat crime in all its forms.”
