Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the new European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Klemens Semtner, on Monday. During the meeting, both parties explored avenues to strengthen cooperation between the Iraqi judiciary and the European Union delegation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Supreme Judicial Council highlighted discussions on enhancing collaboration in legal and judicial areas. The discussions included programs for exchanging and providing judicial and legal expertise between Iraq and the European Union.
