Baghdad: The Cabinet has decided to suspend official working hours on election day for the parliamentary elections, scheduled for next Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in its forty-fourth session held today, Tuesday, the Cabinet authorized the Ministry of Finance to provide the necessary financial allocations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for organizing the International Conference to Support Victims of Terrorism in Baghdad in 2026. This event will be conducted in cooperation with the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism.

The Cabinet also voted on the draft law for Iraq’s accession to the Arab Customs Cooperation Agreement. This draft law has been referred to the Council of Representatives, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
