Baghdad: Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated the Iraqi people on the success of the electoral process, which took place today in a calm and highly democratic atmosphere.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim expressed gratitude in his statement, saying, “Thank you to everyone who participated in this event, and thank you to the Iraqi government for facilitating the elections, to the Independent High Electoral Commission, to our security forces who provided a safe environment, and thank you to the media and everyone who contributed to covering this democratic exercise.”
