Baghdad: The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, along with members of the UN mission and the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission, visited the National Center at Al-Rashid Hotel on Tuesday to monitor the progress of the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this visit underscores the United Nations’ commitment to supporting Iraq throughout its electoral process. The delegation’s presence at the National Center highlights the importance of transparent and credible elections, as the country prepares for its parliamentary elections scheduled for 2025.
